Friends of Red Sea Organizes Beach Cleanup with Local Tourism Providers

King Abdullah Economic City:Supported by the Saudi Red Sea Authority, the "Friends of the Red Sea" community organized a volunteer beach cleanup at Rixos Beach, involving around 25 facility staff members.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to enhance the role of coastal tourism service providers in preserving the natural assets crucial to their operations and the visitor experience. By engaging service providers in the maintenance of the 600-meter-long beach, the initiative seeks to transform awareness into practical actions and increase shared responsibility for environmental care.

The activities included beach cleanup operations and collaborative efforts to maintain cleanliness. Participants were awarded certificates of appreciation for their contributions to the community, aiming to encourage ongoing involvement in environmental initiatives.
