Future Minerals Forum Discusses Developing and Growing Investment in Minerals Value Chains in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh– The 2nd edition of the Future Minerals Forum discussed investing in mineral value chains, developing and growing Investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, new mining laws, as well as economic and social reforms as part of the programs to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

During a session titled “Saudi Arabia: Developing and growing investment in minerals value chains”, Prince Sultan bin Khalid bin Faisal, CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), reviewed the new and amended mining laws that use a transparent regulatory framework which adopts the principles of appropriate sustainability and societal impact.

The session was attended by CEO of Saudi EXIM Eng. Saad Al-Khalab, Director of Economic Research at the Gulf Research Centre John Sfakianakis and Deputy Minister of Economy and Planning for Sectorial and Regional Development Affairs Farah Ismail.
