GAC Concludes Participation in UNCTAD Competition Meeting in Geneva

Geneva: The General Authority for Competition (GAC) concluded its participation in the 23rd session of the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy, held in Geneva. The event brought together heads of competition authorities and international experts from around the world.

According to Saudi Press Agency, GAC CEO Dr. Fahad Alshathri delivered Saudi Arabia's statement during the opening session, highlighting the authority's key regulatory achievements, their impact on market efficiency, and its efforts to further strengthen the Kingdom's competition framework in line with international best practices.

The participation reflects GAC's efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia's international presence, exchange expertise, and advance competition policies in support of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
