Riyadh:In a follow-up statement regarding the attack on King Khalid International Airport, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has confirmed the incident resulted in the death of a Pakistani resident and injuries to 11 others.

According to Saudi Press Agency, those injured in the attack were promptly transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

The attack also resulted in material damage, which is currently under assessment.
