GASTAT: Short-Term Business Indicators Show 10.2% Rise in Operating Revenues in March 2026

Riyadh: The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) issued its short-term business indicators bulletin for March 2026, showing a 10.2% year-on-year increase in the operating revenue index compared to March 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on a monthly basis, the index rose by 8.1% compared to February 2026, supported by growth across several activities, including a 4.4% increase in manufacturing, a 38.6% surge in mining and quarrying, a 0.2% rise in wholesale and retail trade and vehicle repair, a 2.6% increase in financial and insurance activities, and a 0.6% increase in information and communication services.

The short-term business statistics provide monthly indicators that measure the performance of key economic sectors in the Kingdom, tracking short-term developments and growth trends across business activities.
