GCC and Italy Forge New Path with MoU to Enhance Cooperation

Rome: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi announced that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday between the GCC General Secretariat and the Republic of Italy. The agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation between the two sides, with the goal of expanding partnership areas in sectors of mutual interest. This initiative aims to support political dialogue, share expertise, and develop joint action mechanisms.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these remarks were made during the MoU signing ceremony held in Rome. Albudaiwi emphasized that the relationship between GCC member states and Italy is continually evolving in various fields. This progress is fueled by their strong ties and shared interests, highlighting their commitment to elevating these relations to new levels to enhance security, stability, and development.

Both parties expressed hope that this MoU will pave the way for new opportunities in cooperation. They aim to strengthen communication and coordination to achieve their shared goals of increased collaboration and prosperity.
