GCC Secretary-General Condemns Israeli Occupation’s Decision to Execute Palestinian Prisoners

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi condemned in the strongest terms the decision by Israeli occupation forces to execute Palestinian prisoners.

According to Saudi Press Agency, he stated that this decision, issued by the Israeli Knesset, constitutes a flagrant violation and a breach of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.

He called upon the international community to fulfill its legal and humanitarian obligations to halt these illegal decisions and practices by the Israeli occupation forces, which represent a threat to the brotherly Palestinian people.

Albudaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's steadfast and firm position in support of the Palestinian cause and the achievement of a solution based on ending the Israeli occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
