Riyadh: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi received Ambassador of the Lebanese Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ali Karanouh in Riyadh today. The meeting focused on discussing relations between the GCC and Lebanon, exploring avenues for development to achieve mutual interests.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion also covered the latest regional and international developments and conditions. Albudaiwi highlighted that the GCC has accepted an invitation to participate in the International Conference in Support of the Lebanese Army and Security Forces, which is set to occur next month in Paris, France.
Albudaiwi emphasized that the GCC's participation in the conference underscores its ongoing support for Lebanon, demonstrating a commitment to the country's sovereignty, security, and stability.
