Doha: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi met with Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev in Doha, Qatar, on the sidelines of the Doha Forum’s 23rd session. During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, including the progress of implementing the Joint Action Plan (2024-2028) between the GCC and Azerbaijan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the plan aims to elevate prospects for cooperation and relations between the two sides in areas of common interest. They also reviewed the latest regional and international issues and developments and exchanged views.
