Riyadh: The General Directorate of Passports has announced the launch of the 'Tawasul' service, which is accessible through the Ministry of Interior's electronic platform, Absher. This service allows beneficiaries to submit requests for completing transactions that could not be processed electronically, thus eliminating the need for physical visits to passport department offices.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the 'Tawasul' service can be accessed by users through their Absher accounts. The process involves selecting 'My Services,' then 'Services,' followed by choosing the 'Passports Sector.' Users should then select the 'Tawasul Service,' submit a new request, specify the department and sub-service, complete the service requirements, and provide a description of the request along with any necessary attachments before submitting the request.
