KSrelief’s Project “Masam” Dismantles 2,965 Mines in Second Week of September

Riyadh, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 1,980 mines during the second week of September 2019, including two antipersonnel mines, 332 anti-tank, 1,629 unexploded ordnance and 17 explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, 89,761 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of children, women and the elderly.
