Saudi Energy Minister Calls On All Countries To Commit To Oil Production Cuts
BAGHDAD, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Salman called on all countries to abide by oil production cuts.
Ahead of the meeting of the ministerial committee of OPEC +, which monitors compliance with production cuts in Abu Dhabi, the minister said that OPEC and its allies want to stabilize the oil market and cohesion among producers, added Saudi Arabia's oil policy would remain unchanged.
Bin Salman said OPEC + would announce its future course of action after the meeting.
The Saudi minister said on the sidelines of an energy conference in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, "the Kingdom's commitment to work with other producers inside" OPEC "and outside, to stabilize and balance global oil markets."
Abu Dhabi is hosting the activities of the World Energy Conference from 9 to 12 September this year, for the first time, an Arab member of the Organization of "OPEC" to host the events of this prominent conference.
