Grand Mosque Imam Emphasizes Worship as Ongoing Journey Beyond Ramadan

Mecca: In his Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais affirmed that Ramadan is a season for creating a lasting impact and elevating the soul through piety, which he identified as the ultimate goal of fasting.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Sudais explained that the true essence of fasting is manifested through upright speech and righteous actions, and called for utilizing the holy month to strengthen family bonds and promote social solidarity, following the prophetic example.

Sheikh Al-Sudais emphasized that the full benefit of Ramadan lies in transforming its values into permanent behavior, noting that worship is an ongoing journey that continues beyond the conclusion of the month.
