Mecca: In his Eid Al-Fitr sermon at the Grand Mosque today, Imam Sheikh Osama Khayyat described the occasion as a divine reward for worship, emphasizing that the true essence of Eid lies in heartfelt purity, forgiveness, strengthening family ties, and supporting those in need through Zakat Al-Fitr.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Khayyat further noted that the congregational Eid prayer serves as a powerful reflection of the Muslim Ummah's unity and harmony. He concluded by urging worshippers to remain grateful for the blessing of completing the fast while maintaining a commitment to piety, solidarity, and the collective welfare of the community.
