Grand Mosque Welcomes Pilgrims with Roses and Incense on Day of Al-Nahr

Mecca: The Grand Mosque welcomed pilgrims arriving to perform Tawaf Al-Ifadah on the Day of Al-Nahr with the fragrance of roses and incense, creating a welcoming and spiritual atmosphere.

According to Saudi Press Agency, reception teams from the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque were deployed across entrances and corridors carrying incense burners and natural flowers to welcome pilgrims.

Multilingual welcoming and guidance messages were also displayed on screens and delivered by field personnel.

Teams intensified cleaning and sanitization efforts throughout the Grand Mosque to maintain the readiness of sites designated to receive pilgrims during the Day of Al-Nahr.

The authority also deployed guidance teams across corridors and courtyards to direct and assist pilgrims, in addition to services including guest care centers, luggage storage, and other support services.

The atmosphere at the Grand Mosque reflected the ongoing efforts to serve pilgrims and provide comfort and peace of mind while they performed their rituals.
