Gusty Winds and Blowing Dust Expected Across Multiple Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Weather forecasts for Friday indicate that gusty winds and blowing dust are set to continue impacting parts of Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions. This weather pattern is expected to extend to the eastern parts of Najran Region, as well as parts of Madinah and Makkah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds remain possible in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions. Winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, ranging from 20-45 km/h in the northern part and 12-35 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to two meters, indicating a calm to moderate sea condition.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to southwesterly winds will prevail in the northern and central parts, shifting after noon to southeasterly to easterly at speeds of 12-35 km/h. In the southern part, winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-28 km/h. Wave heights are anticipated to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, suggesting a calm to moderate sea.
