Gusty Winds and Heavy Rain Expected in Jazan and Aseer

Riyadh: Gusty winds and moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by hail, are forecasted for parts of Jazan and Aseer regions. Dust-stirring winds are also predicted for the regions of Riyadh and Najran.

According to Saudi Press Agency, temperatures are expected to rise in parts of the Eastern Region, with rain possibly falling in its southern areas. Fog might form along the coastal areas of both the Eastern and Tabuk regions.

Winds over the Red Sea are anticipated to vary, with southwesterly to southeasterly winds blowing at 10-25 km/h in the northern part, and westerly to northwesterly winds at 12-50 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights may range from half a meter to over two meters, indicating sea conditions from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift from easterly to northeasterly, turning to southwesterly to westerly by evening in the northern part and remaining westerly to northwesterly in the central and southern parts, at speeds of 10-25 km/h. Waves are expected to be relatively calm, reaching from half a meter to one meter.
