Riyadh: Gusty winds are expected to blow, and moderate to heavy rain and hail may fall in parts of the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions on Friday. Dust-stirring winds will affect parts of Tabuk, Madinah, and Eastern regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will range from northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-34 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-23 km/h in the southern part. Waves are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea being relatively calm.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-32 km/h in the northern part, and 20-40 km/h in the central and southern parts. Wave heights may reach from half a meter to two meters, and the sea will vary from calm to choppy.
