Hail: The city of Hail has achieved a major milestone by entering the global Smart City Index, ranking 33rd among 148 cities worldwide, according to the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the index is based on a comprehensive assessment that incorporates residents' feedback and evaluates the impact of smart technologies on quality of life. It measures key factors such as digital infrastructure, service accessibility, and urban sustainability.

Hail's ranking highlights its strong performance across several critical sectors, including health and safety, mobility, urban services, economic opportunities, and digital governance, reinforcing its position among leading global cities.

This achievement reflects coordinated, cross-sector efforts driven by high-quality projects and initiatives that advance digital transformation, enhance the urban environment, improve service efficiency, and align with modern urban development goals, further strengthening the global competitiveness of Saudi cities.
