Hajj Ministry Enhances Pilgrim Services and Digital Infrastructure

Jeddah:The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah organized a series of events and initiatives in September to enhance services for pilgrims, including local and international meetings and various campaigns.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's media bulletin highlighted the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the upcoming sixth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition, which will take place in Jeddah in November. The bulletin also noted a meeting between Saudi and Turkish Umrah companies in the city.

September initiatives included the launch of an Umrah awareness campaign for local pilgrims, the distribution of over 300,000 umbrellas to Umrah performers, and the qualification of more than 8,000 external agents. Additionally, the fourth edition of the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum was held in Jeddah, showcasing solutions for enhancing pilgrim services.

The Ministry also announced a significant digital transformation effort, involving a comprehensive cloud migration for the "Nusuk" platform at LEAP 2026. This move is part of broader efforts to develop technical infrastructure and improve services for pilgrims.

These activities demonstrate the ministry's integrated approach to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, focusing on awareness, qualification, and digital development, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
