Riyadh: Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel, currently on a visit to Uzbekistan, met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov to discuss opportunities for enhancing health and investment cooperation between the two countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting addressed cooperation in several health areas, including sustainable healthcare financing and the adoption of the Health in All Policies approach. The discussions also focused on strengthening prevention and population health principles to build more efficient and sustainable health systems in both countries.

The meeting reflects the Ministry of Health's commitment to expanding high-quality international partnerships and exchanging expertise, in line with the Health Sector Transformation Program under Saudi Vision 2030.
