Health Ministry Reviews Experience in Promoting Health Services in GCC Media Directors Meeting

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Health Council, through videoconference, held the 13th meeting of the directors of information, digital media, and awareness of the ministries of health of the GCC member states, out of the council’s keenness to boost cooperation with GCC ministries of health, improve the mechanism for communicating awareness messages to citizens and residents of the member states, coordinate media action and exchange expertise within GCC countries.

The GCC information, digital media and awareness directors participated in the meeting, where the Ministry of Health reviewed its experience in promoting and standardizing health services through a single app, “Sehatty”, that combines many specialized applications.

During the meeting, the ministry discussed the success of the ” Sehhaty ” app in raising awareness of available health services. It also reviewed the promotion strategy adopted to integrate the various applications of the ministry into a single application. The ministry also went over the importance of adopting modern methods in health promotion and utilizing modern technology to maximize the benefits and provide services in a simplified and effective manner to citizens and residents of GCC member states.

The ” Sehhaty ” app, launched by the Ministry of Health, aims to provide an integrated experience for users, where they can access their personal health information, book medical visit appointments, and receive health advice and awareness guidance through a user-friendly and simplified interface.
