Healthcare Services Provided to 6,320 Patients at Zaatari Camp in August

Riyadh:Zaatari Camp: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics provided healthcare services to 6,320 patients at the Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during August 2026.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the general medicine clinics attended to 1,847 patients. The internal medicine clinic treated 718 individuals with conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Pediatric clinics cared for 799 children, and the dental clinic received 376 patients.

The women's clinic saw 523 patients, while the ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 215 patients for infections of the sinus, throat, tonsils, and middle ear. Other clinics included ophthalmology with 233 patients, cardiology with 57, diagnostic radiology with 152, dermatology with 217, and rehabilitation medicine with 109.

Additionally, the clinics carried out 10,151 laboratory tests and performed 1,064 X-ray and ultrasound examinations. The vaccination clinic administered 554 vaccines, and the physiotherapy department conducted 520 physical therapy sessions.
