Heritage Villages Transform Al-Baha into Cultural Tourism Hub

Al-baha: The heritage villages of Al-Baha Region have transformed into vibrant cultural venues, attracting domestic and international visitors during the summer season through festivals, events, and living museums.

According to Saudi Press Agency, sites such as Thee Ain Historical Village, Bin Raqoush Palace, and Al-Atawilah Heritage Village offer immersive experiences featuring traditional crafts, folk performances, local cuisine, and historical architecture across the highlands and the Tihama plain.

More than 70 historical sites across the region are undergoing development and rehabilitation through partnerships between government authorities and residents. Events like the 10-day Al-Atawilah Heritage Festival highlight regional customs and boost local economic growth while preserving national cultural identity in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.
