Historic Jeddah Celebrates Saudi Arabia’s Winning Bid to Host FIFA World Cup 2034

JEDDAH: The gates and landmarks of Historic Jeddah were illuminated in green to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s successful bid to host the FIFA World Cup 2034. The celebrations included a variety of sports and artistic events, creating an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Historic Jeddah Program organized numerous activities to mark the occasion. These included a children’s running race and associated events in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports. A musical concert was held at the Tariq Abdulhakim Center, and gifts were distributed to attendees. Additionally, Irth Café, managed by the Culinary Arts Commission, prepared a special menu and ambiance specifically tailored to the celebration.
