Historic King Abdulaziz Palace in Qassim Welcomes Visitors for Eid Al-Fitr

Riyadh: The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority, in collaboration with the Heritage Commission and Qassim Principality, has opened King Abdulaziz's historic palace in Qibah to visitors for Eid Al-Fitr, The palace is now accessible daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM until next Friday, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a rich cultural experience. It features displays of artifacts and antiquities that narrate the region's social and economic history. Visitors can also enjoy performances of the Saudi Ardah, explore traditional handicrafts crafted by local families, and engage in educational activities designed for children.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the palace, originally constructed in 1351 AH (1932) in the traditional Najdi architectural style, once served as a crucial administrative and security center. This current initiative seeks to emphasize the historical significance of the site and foster a deeper community connection to the nation's heritage. It is part of the broader efforts to enhance the Kingdom's burgeoning tourism sector.
