Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, in Jeddah. The meeting focused on relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the leaders addressed the repercussions of the military escalation in the region. They discussed the risks posed to international navigation and energy supply security, as well as the broader impact on the global economy. Efforts were coordinated to enhance regional security and stability.

Both leaders expressed concern over continued Iranian attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, highlighting the targeting of vital and civilian infrastructure as a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability.

The meeting was attended by several officials.
