Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting on Wednesday at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh with the President of Eritrea, Isaias Afwerki. During this meeting, both leaders engaged in discussions concerning their countries' bilateral relations, exploring potential areas for cooperation, and addressing issues of mutual interest.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting saw the presence of key officials from both nations. From the Saudi side, the attendees included Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, who also serves as National Security Adviser, and Saudi Ambassador to Eritrea Meshal bin Hamdan Al-Roqi.
Representing Eritrea at the meeting were Minister for Foreign Affairs Osman Saleh Mohammed and Charg© d'Affaires of the Eritrean Embassy in Riyadh, Weini Gerezgiher. The discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to enhancing their cooperation across multiple sectors, reflecting a shared interest in strengthening their diplomatic and economic ties.
