ICAIRE and IRCAI Collaborate for AI Ethics Workshop at UNESCO Forum in Riyadh

Riyadh: The International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) and the Slovenia-based International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) co-organized a research workshop during the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (GFEAI 2026) in Riyadh. This workshop served as the academic track of the forum, welcoming researchers from Saudi Arabia and numerous other countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop was held under the supervision of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and featured 27 selected research abstracts. Approximately 25 researchers participated in the event, representing a diverse array of nations including Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Colombia, Canada, Qatar, Germany, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Thailand, Sudan, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom.
