Imam Turki Royal Reserve Marks World Bee Day with Call to Protect Pollinators

Riyadh: The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority emphasized the importance of protecting bees and natural pollinators on World Bee Day, highlighting their vital role in ecosystem sustainability, pollinating wild plants and agricultural crops, and supporting biodiversity within the reserve. According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority noted that the reserve's diverse vegetation and natural pastures make it an attractive environment for bees, contributing to wildlife sustainability and the quality of natural habitats, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative. The authority affirmed its commitment to raising environmental awareness about preserving bees and reducing practices that harm natural habitats, and to continuing initiatives that promote sustainability and protect natural resources for future generations.
