Dakar:Secretary-General of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi met with Minister of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Senegal Yankoba Di©m© at the Senegalese Armed Forces headquarters.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in combating terrorism through capacity building programs and the exchange of expertise among specialists.
Al-Moghedi emphasized the IMCTC's efforts in various domains, including intellectual, media, counter-terrorist financing, and military arenas. The discussions also covered opportunities for collaboration that align with Senegal's priorities, aiming to enhance Senegal's engagement with the coalition's initiatives.
Additionally, Al-Moghedi met with Vice Admiral Oumar Wade, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Senegal. They discussed cooperation in specialized training, expertise exchange, and improving the readiness and capabilities of personnel involved in counter-terrorism activities.
