The Civil Defense teams in Maysan put out a fire that broke out in 4 residential homes and an orchard in the village of Al-Sajjad in the governorate.

The Directorate of Civil Defense said in a statement, of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received a copy: "An electrical fault caused the outbreak of the fire, and firefighters rushed to put it out before it expanded and spread, noting that no human damage was recorded."
