Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held a series of meetings with ministers responsible for industry and mining from several countries participating in the fourth edition of the Future Minerals Forum.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, exploring innovative solutions for sustainable mining, and identifying promising investment opportunities within Saudi Arabia’s mining sector.
Attended by Vice Minister for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, the meetings were held on the sidelines of the forum, which began on Tuesday in Riyadh and brought together representatives from more than 89 countries.
The discussions addressed the future of the global mining and minerals sector, emphasizing the need for continued international collaboration to tackle challenges within the industry. The meetings also underscored the role of the Future Minerals Forum in fostering effective partnerships to
drive growth and development in the sector. The forum’s efforts to promote innovative solutions that balance optimal resource utilization with environmental sustainability standards were also highlighted.
