Industry Minister and Pakistani Officials Discuss Fertilizer Sector Investment

Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef held a virtual meeting with Pakistan's Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan and Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Musadik Malik to discuss enhancing industrial cooperation and expanding investment partnerships, particularly in the fertilizer sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting commended the historical ties and deep economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Both sides explored opportunities to exchange expertise in human capital development, the construction of advanced industrial cities, and the development of ready-made factories.

The ministers also addressed challenges facing exporters, aiming to secure the smooth flow of goods and strengthen integration within regional and international supply chains.

The session was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Saudi Export Development Authority, alongside members of Pakistan's Special Investment Facilitation Council.
