Brussels: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef has concluded an official visit to the Kingdom of Belgium aimed at boosting bilateral economic ties between the two countries, exploring the expansion of partnership in the industrial and mining sectors, transferring knowledge and technology, and attracting qualitative investments in priority industries in the Kingdom, foremost among them pharmaceutical and medical supplies industries. According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit included several high-level meetings with officials from the Belgian government. Alkhorayef also chaired a roundtable meeting with representatives of the Belgian private sector, in the presence of several leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, and held bilateral meetings with executives of several companies specializing in innovative solutions across sectors such as energy, industry, and defense. The minister's official visit to Belgium is part of the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing its glo bal partnerships and benefiting from advanced industrial expertise in strategic sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical, and chemical industries, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the Kingdom's position as a leading regional and global industrial hub.
