Astana: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in Astana, Kazakhstan, where he held a bilateral meeting with Governor Renat Bekturov.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the two officials discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors. They explored new avenues for economic and investment partnerships between Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.

Alkhorayef was briefed on the AIFC's role in supporting Kazakhstan's financial and investment ecosystem, enhancing legal certainty, and safeguarding investors' rights.

The meeting also reviewed the Kingdom's efforts to provide financing solutions that support the industrial and mining sectors, along with a range of incentives and enablers designed to attract international investors.
