Makkah: Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz met today with the Director General of the Ministry of Interior's General Department of Guidance and Counseling, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Saadan, along with department staff at the ministry's headquarters.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during this meeting, Prince Abdulaziz emphasized the leadership's commitment to supporting initiatives that benefit Islam and Muslims globally. He highlighted the importance of prioritizing care for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, ensuring that all necessary resources are utilized to facilitate a safe and serene pilgrimage experience for all.
The minister also expressed his appreciation for the General Department of Guidance and Counseling's efforts, alongside similar departments in the security sectors. He acknowledged their role in promoting Islamic values and principles, enhancing awareness, and boosting the morale of security personnel, which in turn positively impacts their performance and operational efficiency.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Saadan, Director General of the department, delivered a speech outlining the department's strategic plan for the 1447 AH Hajj season. He noted that the plan focuses on showcasing the Kingdom's dedication to serving pilgrims while also reinforcing awareness initiatives directed at security personnel to aid in their field duties.
Before the meeting concluded, the minister reiterated his praise for the Ministry of Interior's General Department of Guidance and Counseling, acknowledging their significant contributions to awareness and guidance efforts during the Hajj season.
