Manama, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, received Vice Admiral George M. Wikoff, Commander of US Naval Forces Central Command, Commander of the United States Fifth Fleet (C5F).

Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, attended the meeting.

The minister praised the strategic Bahrain-US relations and affirmed the importance of reinforcing security cooperation and exchanging expertise.

The meeting discussed efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation.
