Riyadh: Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz held an official discussion session on Wednesday in Riyadh with Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Spain Fernando Grande-Marlaska at the ministry’s headquarters.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting was conducted under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The primary aim was to strengthen security cooperation, reflecting the strong relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed ways to enhance cooperation, with a focus on combating crime, tracking offenders, countering international drug-trafficking networks, and addressing money laundering. The discussions also included enhancing the exchange of expertise between the two ministries.
Following the meeting, the Minister of Interior and his Spanish counterpart signed a cooperation plan between the two interior ministries. The session was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
