Interior Ministry Clarifies Visit Visa Restrictions for Hajj

Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has reaffirmed that individuals holding visit visas, regardless of their type or category, are not permitted to perform Hajj. The Ministry emphasized that obtaining an official Hajj permit is an essential requirement for participating in the religious pilgrimage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry urged everyone to comply with the regulations established for the current Hajj season (1447 AH). It highlighted the importance of cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of all pilgrims. The Ministry also warned that any breach of these guidelines would result in legal consequences for those involved.

Furthermore, the Ministry encouraged the public to report any instances of non-compliance by contacting the designated emergency numbers-(911) for the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) for other regions within the Kingdom.
