Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Relations, Muhammad Hussein Muhammad Bahr Al-Uloom, met Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Baghdad, Al-Khidr Ahmed Ali Marmash, at the ministry's headquarters in Baghdad.

A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, they discussed a number of common files, ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations, and exchange visits between the two countries. The most important events in the regional arena were also reviewed.

The Undersecretary affirmed Iraq's position in support of the unity and stability of the Republic of Yemen.
