Baghdad– Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has announced the launch of the Arabian Gulf Cup “Gulf i 25” in Basra Governorate in his speech at the opening ceremony, calling on masses to celebrate and teams to play with a high spirit of sportsmanship.

The opening ceremony was attended by senior Iraqi officials, including Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi, Arab personalities, ministers, ambassadors, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The ceremony will be followed by a match between the Iraqi and Omani national teams.
