ISESCO Hails Saudi Efforts to Advance Women in Leadership Roles

Rabat– Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al-Malik, hailed the Kingdom’s efforts and its outstanding commitment to enhancing the presence of women in leadership roles and decision-making circles, referring to the World Bank initiatives and its role as a leading institution in breaking down barriers to women’s development.

In a speech he delivered virtually, during a working session held by the World Bank and the Saudi Institute of Public Administration, in Washington today, discussing the best practices and international lessons in women’s rehabilitation and gender equality, Dr. Al-Malik called for supporting the presence of women in leadership positions and giving great importance to the principle of achieving gender equality and its inclusion in sustainable development plans.
