Islamic Affairs in Madinah Completes Preparation of Women’s Prayer Section at Al-Khandaq Mosque

Madinah, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance branch in Madinah finished preparing the women's prayer section in Al-Khandaq Mosque to accommodate female pilgrims and visitors during this year's Hajj season. The mosque, spanning two floors, boasts well-organized entrances and exits. The corridors were thoughtfully designed to ensure the smooth movement of all worshipers, including the elderly and people with disabilities. Wheelchairs are strategically placed to guarantee comfort and ease of use, further enhancing the mosque's accessibility. Preparations include setting up Islamic awareness booths staffed by ministry employees who are available to answer visitors' questions about Sharia and Hajj rituals. Workers will distribute guidance publications and provide access to copies of the Qur'an. Additionally, information boards were installed to indicate the direction of the Qibla and enhance the spiritual environment within the prayer hall. Source: Saudi Press Agency
