Manama:Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh met with Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 12th Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Islamic Affairs and Awqaf in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions highlighted the crucial role and shared responsibility of ministries and bodies overseeing Islamic affairs and Awqaf (religious endowments) in GCC countries.

Both parties emphasized the importance of safeguarding Gulf societies, protecting young people and families, and preserving their authentic Islamic and Arab identity amidst various intellectual and cultural challenges.
