Islamic Affairs Ministry Celebrates Participation of 334 Contestants in King Abdulaziz International Holy Quran Competition

The ministry of islamic affairs:he Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance celebrated the participants in the 46th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran, held at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The competition brings together 334 contestants from 133 countries. As part of the celebrations, streets across Riyadh, Makkah, and Jeddah were decorated with images of the Kingdom's leadership and welcoming banners honoring the participants.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the 46th edition of the competition marks a significant expansion, featuring a women's section for the first time in its history, alongside broad international participation. The total prize money for this year's competition amounts to SAR10.26 million, with the number of winners increased to 50, including five winners in each of the five competition categories.
