Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes Holy Quran Competition in Indonesia

Java, The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance held today the closing ceremony of the Holy Quran competition in Indonesia, which was organized by the ministry in cooperation with the State Islamic Institute of Surakarta.

A total of 60 contestants from 53 religious institutions participated in the final qualifiers, of whom 18 won various prizes.

Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's embassy in Indonesia Ahmed Al-Hazmi, several military and civilian officials, and representatives of Islamic institutions attended the ceremony.

The competition is part of the religious and cultural programs implemented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in coordination with Saudi embassies in various countries around the world.
