Ashgabat: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance yesterday presented the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of dates to Turkmenistan in a ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy in Ashgabat attended by several officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the quantity of dates amounts to five tons, benefiting more than 20,000 beneficiaries. This initiative is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts to promote the values of solidarity and compassion and to strengthen humanitarian ties with Islamic peoples.

The ministry implements the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Gift of Dates Program in 120 countries around the world, reflecting the Kingdom's leading role in serving Islam and Muslims.
