Islamic Affairs Ministry Initiates Pilgrim Awareness Programs in Madinah

Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance branch in Madinah Region has introduced comprehensive field awareness and service programs for pilgrims and visitors across 19 strategic locations in Madinah. These initiatives are part of a larger integrated system of advocacy and guidance programs designed to enhance the experience of those visiting the Prophet's Mosque and other significant Islamic landmarks.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the targeted sites for these programs include prominent locations such as Miqat Dhu Al-Hulayfah, Quba Mosque, Al-Qiblatain Mosque, Sayyid Al-Shuhada Mosque, Al-Khandaq Mosque, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport. These sites were chosen due to their high visitor density, ensuring that a wide audience can benefit from the services offered.

The services provided by the ministry include addressing inquiries, offering Sharia guidance, distributing awareness materials, and explaining Sharia rulings pertinent to the visits. To facilitate these services, the ministry has deployed qualified advocacy personnel and translators, ensuring that guidance is accessible in multiple languages to accommodate the diverse backgrounds of the visitors.

These programs are a reflection of the ministry's commitment to serving the visitors of the two holy mosques during the Umrah season. They are also in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the religious and cultural experience of visitors to the kingdom.
