Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Iftar and Date Distribution in Kosovo

Pristina: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has begun implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' programs for iftar and the distribution of premium dates in the Republic of Kosovo. The launch ceremony was held on Ramadan 5 at the Islamic Sheikhdom in Pristina, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Albania Faisal Hifzi, Deputy Mufti of Albania Ahmed Sadri, and several Islamic figures.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a total of five tons of dates has been allocated under the program, benefiting 20,000 people. Nearly 4,000 individuals are benefiting from the iftar program during Ramadan. The initiative reflects the leadership's keenness to address the needs of Muslims during the holy month and to strengthen values of solidarity and compassion among Islamic peoples.
